The “Scanning Tolerance” provides the user with a helpful tool to use when the printing quality of the bar code is poor. This is a programmable feature with
software revision CXX and older for both FBC-3000 series and FBC-6000 series. Units using later software revisions (DXX) perform this feature automatically
without any extra programming. To reduce the error reading rate further, we also recommend that you limit the number of enabled symbologies to only those that
you need to read. And to limit the minimum and maximum reading of each enabled bar code symbology.
